Since the Coronavirus quarantine has been lifted in New York State, the housing authority has made the building’s common areas available for its resident’s use. Please continue to follow the CDC’s recommendations by washing your hands regularly and maintaining social distance. Most importantly, you must wear face coverings or masks covering both your mouth and nose when you are in any of the building’s common areas including but not limited to: hallways, elevators, offices, lobbies, stairwells, fitness, community and recreation rooms as well as housing authority designated outdoor seating areas. Please inform your guests of these guidelines, as you are responsible for your guests. Until further notice, these practices are now considered to be rules and regulations of the agency to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all residents, as stated in your resident manual and lease.

North Hempstead Housing Authority’s staff will be addressing your work orders, however, when staff members or vendors come to your apartment to make repairs, you must wear a face covering or mask as well as maintain social distance where possible.
